I don’t know if I have a right to be sad about Motley Crue because of the fact that I’ve already seen them live, but It just sucks because obviously they are a great band, and with this awesome thing called the internet, people will be finding out about them for years and years to come, and only to find out that they’ll never be seen on a stage again.33 years of changing lives, and delivering rock n roll to the youth is over. I don’t know why they’re stopping, they definately have every right to,but these future generations will see that it wasn’t caused by a death,or an injury,or an accident on tour, all they’ll see is a band that decided it was enough, and they’ll never know that feeling you get when you hear they’re coming to your town, and then the anticipation from the moment you get your tickets to the moment the first note of Mick’s guitar rings through the stadium. They’ll never see Tommy’s rotating drumset, or hear Vince’s beautiful heavy metal wailing. They’ll never feel the rumble of Nikki’s bass beneath our feet. They’ll never know how ready and how not ready us Crueheads are for the concert of a lifetime. A concert that rings in your ears for days. That is the soreness in your muscles for weeks. That is the memories of teenage years for a lifetime. Some people will never know, but I am so goddamn grateful that I do.
Goodbye Motley Crue! Vince,Nikki,Mick,Tommy…I love you!
